What is Faith & Blue?
Faith & Blue is built on the belief that strong communities grow through mutual respect and understanding. Law enforcement and faith institutions are two pillars of every neighborhood, and when they work together, communities thrive.
Purpose
The purpose of Faith & Blue is to bring the community together by fostering open communication, breaking down barriers, and strengthening relationships. These events provide opportunities for positive interactions that build trust, unity, and mutual understanding.
How to Get Involved?
This year, the Newark Police Department has joined forces with the University of Delaware Police Department and the New Castle County Police Department to expand outreach across the greater Newark area.
Faith & Blue Weekend will be highlighted with a Community BBQ (Open to the Public):

In addition to the BBQ, each department will be engaging with their faith-based partners throughout the next few weeks attending services, hosting community talks, participating in cleanups, and joining other associated events.
